Story

Broken Shadows is a 25 minute film that follows a young detective by the name of Emma. Emma has been investigating an unsolved murder/robbery crime. Three officers who arrived on the scene to thwart the robbery were killed. The perpetrators escaped, never to seen again. Organized crime and corruption are key aspects in this case. A new independent investigation is underway that is looking closely at people within the department.

Our film looks at corruption and how it is apart of the human condition. This story also examines our lead female character dealing with an abusive upbringing and how this affects Emma and her relationships today. 

Strong male characters populate our story as well, for good or evil remains to be seen. The array of characters in this film are layered, complex people with hard decisions ahead.
